About Gian

Born in the Philippines and raised in Los Angeles, Gian Solo creates music that gives life, comfort, and energy back to the listener. With a background spanning years of performing, recording, and touring with multiple bands, Gian now writes, sings, and performs all instruments—guitars, bass, and vocals—on his self-produced music.

His 2026 self-produced album, Dreaming of You, explores themes of love, joy, heartbreak, purpose, existential reflection, human connection, capturing the emotional highs and lows of the human experience. Gian also recorded, edited, and mastered the project himself, fully realizing his creative vision from start to finish.

Known for his authentic songwriting, commanding performances, and lush acoustic-rock arrangements, Gian blends elements of folk, rock, and alternative music to tell stories that connect and inspire. His previous releases, including “Sunsets,” “Stay,” and “Come Back to Me,” highlight his honest lyricism and nuanced, heartfelt instrumentation.
